INTRODUCTION

This hotfix improves the DB2 adapter in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 to support the "no delay TCP connection startup" feature. After you apply the hotfix together with the related registry settings, you are able to initiate TCP/IP connections without incurring in a delay when the server responds to client requests.

Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Registry setting

Locate to the following registry entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Host Integration Server\Data Integration\Add the name TcpNoDelay to the subkey, set the data type to the REG_SZ data type, and then set the value to Yes.
