Error message when you run Operations Manager 2007 R2: "The SSL certificate is signed by an unknown certificate authority"
When you run Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2, you may receive the following error message:
The server certificate on the destination computer (ComputerName.domain.local:1270) has the following errors: The SSL certificate is signed by an unknown certificate authority.
This problem may occur because the certificate is not trusted.
To resolve this problem, follow one of these steps:
- Run the Discovery Wizard to re-sign the certificate for low security.
- Manually sign the certificate according to the security guide for high security.
