Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate
You have a computer that has Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate installed. You write source code in the Code Editor of Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate. Then, you rest the pointer on an identifier to view the QuickInfo tooltip. However, Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate crashes when you use the tooltip. Additionally, you receive the System.InvalidOperationException exception.
Note This issue occurs when another application or a device is actively using the UI Automation framework. For example, this issue occurs when you run an application that uses the Screen Reader, Tablet, or Multi-touch functionality.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

Note The version number of Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate is 10.0.30128.1 (RC1Rel).
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix if no instance of Visual Studio is being used.
