In Teams for your personal life, you can add tasks for yourself or others, edit tasks you or your friends have added, or complete tasks. Find out how to create a task list here.

  1. Tap More  More options button, then tap the Tasks tab.

  2. Go to the list where you want to add a task.

  3. Tap Add a task and enter your task name in the Add a task field.

  4. Tap the checkbox when you’ve entered your task.

  5. Repeat the process for any additional tasks.

  6. Tap the Back Back button  arrow when you’re finished entering tasks.

  1. Go to the chat in which you want to create a task list.

  2. Tap and hold on the message you'd like to create a new task for, then tap Create task.

  3. Adjust the options as you wish, including picking the task list you want the task to appear in. Tap Save when you're done making the task.

  2. Go to the list where you want to edit a task.

  3. Tap the task you want to edit. You can:

    • Add people button  Assign the task to a group member (only available in shared task lists). The person to whom you assigned the task will get a notification in their Activity feed.

    • The Add event button  Add a Due date to the task

    • Mark as important button  Use the slider to mark the task as Important.

    • Meeting notes button  Add Notes to the task.

    • Add checklist item button  Add a checklist item.

    • Delete button  Delete the task.

  1. Go to the list where you want to delete a task.

  2. Tap the task you want to delete.

  3. Tap Delete  Delete button.

  4. Confirm you want to delete the task.

  1. Go to the list where you want to complete the task.

  2. Tap the radio button next to the task to complete it.

  3. You can also unselect the radio button to unmark the task.
