Create a chart in Excel for the web

You can create a chart for your data in Excel for the web. Depending on the data you have, you can create a column, line, pie, bar, area, scatter, or radar chart. To learn more about what type of chart works for your data, see Available chart types.

  1. Click anywhere in the data for which you want to create a chart.

    To plot specific data into a chart, you can also select the data.

  2. Click Insert >the arrow on a chart you want. For example, Column or Bar.

  3. Pick a chart type.

  4. If you want to add chart elements like titles or data labels, click anywhere in the chart to show the Chart Tools on the ribbon.

  5. On the Chart tab, pick the options you want.
