To delete messages in your inbox in classic Outlook, select one or more messages and do one of the following:

Press the Delete key or Ctrl+D.

Go to Home and select
 Delete. -
Drag the message to the Deleted Items folder in the left navigation pane.Â

To delete messages from your message list in new Outlook, Ctrl+click to select one or more messages, then do one of the following:

Press the Delete key.
