If you hover over a teammate’s profile picture, you’ll see a profile card containing their details. Start a chat, call, or send an email to someone from their profile card.

Find info

To ask more specific questions about someone in your org, use Who. Who is a bot whose sole purpose is finding info about the people you work with.

Type /who into the command box at the top of Teams to start asking questions such as "Who did I email yesterday about data storage?" or "Who is John Smith?"

Using the Who command

Asking a question directs you to a one-on-one chat with Who, so feel free to view your answer and ask follow-up questions there.

You can access someone's profile card from their profile picture.

In a channel, tap someone's profile picture to see their profile card. From a chat, tap the name in the header for the chat details. From there, tap the person's profile picture.
