How do I create a calendar event in GroupMe?

Creating an event for your group is easy in GroupMe.

There are two ways to add a calendar event.

  1. In a chat, select Add an attachment  Android paperclip icon .

  2. Select the Calendar Meetings button  icon.

  3. Select Create New Event.

  4. Fill out the details of the event and select Send.

Additionally, you can:

  1. Select the group or contact’s avatar and then select Calendar  Meetings button .

  2. Select the plus icon  Add button  below scheduled events or at bottom of the screen to create a new event.

  3. Fill out the details on the form and select Send.

Note: Only the event creator can edit the event’s details, such as the start and end times, location or reminders for the event or cancel the event.

  3. Fill out the details on the form and select Create Event.
