Join a group from an invite link

If you receive an invite link from the admin of a group, simply tap the link to join the group from the dialog box.

Join a group from a QR code

Sometimes an admin might share a QR code as an invite to join a group. You can scan the code to join the group.

1. From your Chats list, tap (on Android) or (on iOS) > Join group.

2. Tap the QR Code tab, and then scan the QR code shared by the admin.

Join a group from a group code

If you receive a group code to join a group, use the code to join the group.

1. From your Chats list, tap (on Android) or (on iOS) > Join group.

2. Tap the Group Code tab, and then enter the code shared by the group admin.

Join a nearby group

If a group is discoverable at your location, you can join it.

1. Tap Discover > More > Nearby Groups.

2. Tap the group you want to join, and then tap Join. You will be added or subscribed to the group.

You can also join a nearby group directly from the Chats list:

1. From your Chats list, tap Join group.

2. Tap the Nearby Groups tab, and then search for nearby groups.

3. Tap the group you want to join, and then tap Join.

Join a public group

If a group is public, you can view its contents or join it.

1. Tap Discover , and identify the group you want to view or join.

2. Tap the group picture to open and view its contents.

3. Tap Join if you want to join.

You can also search for a group:

1. Tap Discover > Search Groups.

2. Type the name or description of the group you want to join in search box.

3. You will see a list of groups matching your search query.

4. Tap on the group picture to open and view its contents.

5. Tap Join if you want to join.
