Open a message you want read aloud in classic Outlook.

On the ribbon, select Read Aloud. (If you don't see that option, at the right end of the toolbar, select More commands, then select Read Aloud.)
Outlook begins reading to you. Playback controls appear on the right side of the window so that you can pause, go back or forward, and change the voice settings.

Select or open the message you want read aloud in new Outlook for Windows.

On the View tab, select Immersive Reader.
The immersive reader opens, with large-format text.

At the bottom of the window, press the Play button.

Next to the play button is a
Voice settings button that allows you to change the playback speed and gender of the voice.
