After updating to Outlook Version 2006 Build 13001.20266 and higher, Outlook crashes deleting 3 or more emails from a POP account with Download Headers Only.
In the Windows Event Viewer Application Log, you will see the following event details:

Exception code: 0xc0000409

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

If you urgently need to work around this issue, you can revert Office to the prior working version. To go back to a previous version, follow these steps:
Type run in the Windows Search box and select the Run app.
Copy and paste the following line in the Run box and select OK to start the revert process:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.12827.20470
