ISSUE

Outlook for Mac and Outlook Mobile intermittently stop syncing with the following error:

  • Outlook Mobile: Add account again. We’re having trouble syncing emailaddress. Please add your account again.

  • Outlook for Mac: Emailaddress: We’re having trouble syncing the mailbox. Please remove and add your account again.

STATUS: INVESTIGATING

The Outlook Team is investigating this issue for a fix. We will update this topic as soon as we have more information.

WORKAROUND

  1. Open the Outlook web app.

  2. Go to the People pane.

  3. Select Favorites under the user’s mailbox.

  4. Delete all Favorites contacts.
