Users on Microsoft 365 Semi Annual Channel are not able to attach Modern Attachments from OneDrive or SharePoint to emails. Instead of the attachment getting attached, the user gets an error dialog:
"Cannot find this file. Verify the path and file name are correct."
A service fix was deployed on August 20, 2019 that resolved the issue.
To workaround the issue, when you go to attach the file, select Insert, Attach File, Browse Web Locations, OneDrive, and insert the file directly from OneDrive.
