Productive meeting checklist

Use this checklist to ensure your meetings are productive, efficient, and inclusive. This check list can be applied to all types of meeting—in-person, all-remote, or hybrid.

Before the meeting

  • Get clear on the meeting objective and desired outcome—make sure a meeting is needed

  • Determine the required and optional participants

  • Include the meeting agenda and any required pre-read material in the meeting invite

  • Let participants know how you would like them to engage in the meeting

  • Consider time zones, working hours, and holidays
