SYMPTOMS

When one user tries to generate FRx reports to the DrillDown Viewer (enhanced XML), that user receives the following error message:


FRx DrillDown Viewer will exit: Error 0.


All other users can successfully generate FRx reports to the DrillDown Viewer with no error messages.


CAUSE

Cause 1

The user does not have a Default printer specified on the workstation. See Resolution 1 in the "Resolution" section.

Cause 2

The incorrect default printer is selected on the Citrix server. See Resolution 2 in the "Resolution" section.

RESOLUTION

Resolution 1

Make sure thatthe Citrix Server or Terminal Server and the user's workstationhas a Default printer loaded.The DrillDown Viewer uses the printer driver from the Default printer on the user's workstation.

Resolution 2

To check the default printer that is used on the Citrix server, follow these steps:


  1. Click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.

  2. The printer icon that has a check mark next to it is the default printer. If the default printer is incorrect, right-click the printer that you want to change to the new default printer. Then, click Set as Default Printer.

  1. Locate the Drill32.exe file in the Microsoft FRx code folder. Double-click the Drill32.exe file. By default, the Drill32.exe file is in the following location

    C:\Program Files\FRx Software\FRx 6.7

  2. If Error 0 occurs, start Notepad. Click File, and then click Print.

  3. If you receive a different error message when you print in Notepad, an incorrect printer may be set as the default printer.
