SUMMARY

This article describes how to add the Sales Ship To Address and the Customer Address fields to the Purchase Order.

MORE INFORMATION

Use these steps to add the Sales Ship to address and the Customer Address to Purchase Orders.

1.

Click Tools, click Customize, click Report Writer, select the Great Plains Product, and then click OK to open Report Writer.

2.

Click Tables, click Tables, select SOP_POLine and then click Open.
Note For Release 7.0, select popPOLineRollupTemp instead of POP_POLine and then click Open.

3.

Click Relationships, click New, click the Ellipse button to select the Secondary Table, select SOP_POPLink and then click OK.

4.

Click to select SOP_POPLinkIdxPO as the Secondary Table Key.

5.

Select the PO Number and Ord fields from the Primary Table to match the same fields in the Secondary Table, and then click OK.

6.

Click the Close button to close the Table Relationship window, click OK to close the Table Definition window.

7.

In the Tables window, select SOP_POPLink and then click Open.

8.

In the Tables window, highlight SOP_POPLink and choose the Open button.

9.

Click Relationships, click New, click the Ellipse button to select the Secondary Table, select Sales Transaction Work, and then click OK.

10.

Click to select SOP_HDR_WORK_Key1 as the Secondary Table Key.

11.

Select the SOP Number and SOP Type fields from the Primary Table to match the same fields in the Secondary Table, and then click OK.

12.

Click the Close button to close the Table Relationship window, click OK to close the Table Definition window, and then click the Close button to close the Tables window.

13.

Click Reports, select POP Purchase Order Blank Form for the Original Reports list, and then click Insert.

14.

Select POP Purchase Order Blank Form from the Modified Reports list, and then click Open to open the Report Definition window.

15.

Click Tables, select Purchase Order Line and choose the New button.
Note For Release 7.0, highlight the Purchase Order Line Rollup Temp table instead of Purchase Order Line* and choose the New button.

16.

Highlight SOP_POPLink and choose the OK button.

17.

In the Report Table Relationships window, highlight SOP_POPLink and choose the New button.

18.

Highlight Sales Transaction Work and choose the OK button.

19.

In the Report Table Relationships window, highlight Sales Transaction Work and choose the New button.

20.

Highlight Customer Master Address and choose the OK button.

21.

Select the Close button.

22.

In the Report Definition window, click Restrictions, click New, and then name the restriction. Select SOP_POPLink as the Report Table, select SOP Number as the Table Fields, click Add Field, click equals (=) under Operators. Select SOP_POPLink as the Report Table, select SOP Number as the Table Fields, and then click Add Field. The restriction will read:
SOP_POPLink.SOP Number = SOP_POPLink.SOP Number

In the Report Definition window, click Layout.

In the Toolbox, select Sales Transaction Work form the drop-down menu, and drag the Address fields you want onto the RH and PH sections of the report.

Double-click on the field that was just put on the report.

In the Report Field Options window, be sure the Display Options is set to Visible. Set the Field Type to Data. Click OK.

27.

In the Toolbox choose Customer Master Address from the drop down list, and drag the Address fields you want onto the RH and PH section of the report.

28.

Double click on the field that was just put on the report.

29.

In the Report Field Options window, be sure the Display Options is set to Visible. Set the Field Type to Data. Click OK.

30.

Click the Close button to close the Report Layout window, and the click Save.

31.

Click File, and then click Great Plains to return to Great Plains.

32.

In Great Plains, click Setup, click System and then click Security.

33.

Select your User ID and Company, leave Great Plains as the Product, and then select Modified Reports as the Type and Purchasing as the Series.

34.

Double-click the POP Purchase Order Blank Form in the Modified Reports list to put an asterisk (*) next to it, and then click OK.
