This article describes the update for daylight saving time (DST) changes for the Palestinian Authority in Windows Embedded Compact 7. For more information about this DST change, see Historical DST corrections for the Palestinian Authority now available.

Palestinian Authority

This update includes the following Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes:

  • The 2015 DST ended October 23, 2015 instead of October 22, 2015.

  • The 2019 DST ended October 23, 2019 at 00:00 (midnight) instead of 01:00.

  • The 2020 DST started at 01:00 on March 28, 2020 instead of March 27, 2020

  • The 2020 DST ended at 01:00 on October 24, 2020 instead of October 31, 2020.

This Windows Embedded Compact 7 Monthly Update (March 2021) is now available from Microsoft. To download the update, go to the Device Partner Center (DPC).

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previous updates for this product are installed.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

  • On the Build menu, select Clean Solution, and then select Build Solution.

  • On the Build menu, select Rebuild Solution.

You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
