Privacy settings in Kaizala

Set your last seen status

By default, everyone chatting with you can see your last seen status in the chat screen. You can make this visible only to your contacts, or to no one.

To set your last seen status:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Show last seen.

2. Choose Everyone, No-one, or My Contacts.

You can see someone’s status only if you’re sharing your status, too.

Download your Kaizala data

You can download your Kaizala data, including profile information, group and chat information, and your contacts.

To download your Kaizala data:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Account Settings.

2. Tap Download your Kaizala Data.

Block or unblock a contact

You can block anyone at any time. The blocked person won’t be notified, and you won’t receive his or her direct messages in the future.

To block or unblock a contact:

1. Open the profile of the user you want to block by tapping on the user’s avatar .

2. In the upper right corner, tap More .

3. Choose Block, and then tap OK.

   The blocked user will be added to the list of other users you have blocked on the Settings page.

To view your blocked users:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Account Settings.

2. Tap Privacy > Blocked Contacts.

To unblock a blocked contact:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Account Settings.

2. Tap Privacy > Blocked Contacts.

3. Choose the contact, and then tap Unblock.

To review the Kaizala privacy policy:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Account Settings.

2. Tap Privacy Statement.

Delete your Kaizala account

You can delete your Kaizala account at any time. Here's what happens:

• Your data gets deleted from the Kaizala app, including profile information, membership in groups, contacts, and any Kaizala product and service data. Other people will still be able to see your previous messages.

• Your account is removed from Kaizala.

• You're removed from all Kaizala groups.

• Your message history is deleted.

To delete your Kaizala account:

1. Tap Chats > More > Settings > Account Settings.

2. Tap Delete account.

For security reasons, you'll be asked enter your mobile phone number. Once deleted, you’ll see the welcome screen for Kaizala.
