Meet the requirements and pay the fee for a Silver or Gold competency
If you're new to partnering with Microsoft, the first step is to join the Microsoft Partner Network. If you're not already a member of the partner network, go to the membership page on the partner network site and select Join when you're ready to sign up.
If you are already a Partner with Microsoft and you met the requirements of a given competency, you can pay the fee of the Silver or Gold level of that competency by following the steps outlined below.
1. Sign In with your work account credentials in the Microsoft Partner website
2. After successfully Signing In with your work account, access your Dashboard.
3. Go to your Membership offers page. Locate the Silver or Gold competency tile under the Offers available for purchase section and click Subscribe.
Note: If you haven’t met the requirements for the desired Competency level, you will not be able to pay the competency fee. Also, if you are already a Gold competency Partner, the option to pay the Silver competency fee will be unavailable to you – once reaching a Silver level in any competency, while already being one of our Gold competency Partners, the incremental benefits for the Silver competency will be auto awarded to you (check the License table for more info on the offered benefits for each available competency)
4. In the next page, review your Purchase details and Select your payment preference

Note: To access the MPN Offers and purchase a Silver and/or Gold enrollment, Guest users need to have Global Admin/MPN Partner Admin roles. Please find below the experience in Partner Center for a Guest user with no admin privileges on the tenant.
Credit card as a payment preference
If your preferred method of payment is Credit card, in the next screen you will be prompted to
Review, on behalf of your company, the MPN Offer Purchase Terms and Conditions by clicking on the Agreement hyperlink at the top of the page – this document offers important information about your billing account, renewal, refund eligibility and taxes.
Insert your Credit card information (your payment will be collected through a third-party secure payment gateway) and Pay.
Note: You should always insert the address corresponding to your credit card and not corresponding to your legal entity address if they differ. Also, please make sure that the zip code is correct and corresponds to the address you indicate.
As soon as the payment is successfully completed, your subscription will be activated immediately, and you will be able to enjoy your benefits as a Microsoft Partner Network Member.
Electronic bank transfer as a payment preference
If your preferred method of payment is Electronic bank transfer, in the next screen you will be prompted to
Review, on behalf of your company, the MPN Offer Purchase Terms and Conditions by clicking on the Agreement hyperlink at the bottom of the page – this document offers important information about your billing account, renewal, refund eligibility and taxes.
Review your purchase details and Submit.
Note: Your Order number and MPN ID will be shown as soon as you have successfully hit Submit for the order. Please include your Order number and MPN ID in your wire transfer reference details when performing the wire transfer from your bank account.
Also, please make sure to transfer the due amount in Microsoft’s bank account indicated in your purchase screen under “Transfer To:” and pay in the currency the fee is displayed.
After the payment is successfully completed, your purchase will appear as active 48-72 hours after it reaches Microsoft’s bank account and you will be able to enjoy your benefits as a Microsoft Partner Network Member.
The full process can take up to 1 week to be completed. As long as you provide the information needed (Order number and MPN ID) in your wire transfer reference details the payment can be activated sooner.
After the request is submitted you will be asked to upload the payment proof: Payment date, the account where payment is sent and attach the payment proof document.
If the status of your order becomes Expired after 30 days since you created it (because the payment process wasn’t fully completed or due to some system delays) you will have to create a new Order, from Partner Center directly, without sending the payment one more time.
After completing all these steps, a green message will be displayed letting you know that the request was completed successfully.
Once you have bank’s confirmation that the transaction was completed by their end, using the MPN ID and Order no. as details/ comments and also displaying the Microsoft account where payment was sent, please upload payment proof in the Membership Offers left menu tab, under Purchased Offers section.
Switch from Electronic bank transfer payment preference to Credit card payment method
If you have decided that you would rather pay using Credit Card and you already have an unactioned electronic bank transfer order created in the system, you will need to cancel the order and repurchase using the preferred payment method.
In order to cancel an existing unactioned electronic bank transfer you must first access the Membership Offers tab in your Dashboard and click on the and confirm the Cancel order option
MPN Offer upgrade discount from Silver to Gold level
If your organization has an active Silver Competency and has met the eligibility requirements for the associated Gold Competency, you are eligible to upgrade from Silver to Gold and receive a 25% discount on the price of the Gold Competency.
The new Gold Anniversary Date will be scheduled to one year from the date of purchase and you will get full Gold benefits.
If you had a Silver membership offer, then used the 25% Gold membership discount to upgrade to a Gold membership offer, you are not eligible for a Silver refund (even if you paid for Silver membership within 30 days and have not used the benefits).
