Symptoms

When theĀ InstallApplication task sequence step is applied, the task does not use the content from the Pre-staged media in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. Instead, the task uses the files that are stored on the media. This increases the time for task sequence execution from Pre-staged media. This issue does not affect stand-alone media in which the InstallĀ Application step uses files from the media as expected.
