Symptoms

Assume that you run the Set-MoveRequest or Resume-MoveRequest cmdlet together with the Whatif switch in Exchange Management Shell. However, the changes are applied to the object unexpectedly.

Note The Whatif switch simulates an action without applying any changes to an object.

Cause

This issue occurs because the ConfirmationMessage property in the Set-MoveRequest or Resume-MoveRequest cmdlet is not set correctly.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:

2661854 Description of Update Rollup 2 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2

Status
