Outlook 2013This issue is fixed in Outlook 2013. The Outlook 2013 fix works when a user follows these steps:
- Use the existing Outlook 2013 profile to access the mailbox at least one time after your mailbox is migrated from the on-premises Exchange to Office 365. Outlook 2013 should automatically detect the mismatch and then update the store entry IDs.
- You can now create a new Outlook 2013 profile without losing your Favorites.
Outlook 2010There is no fix for Outlook 2010. After the migration, Outlook 2010 users have to add the folders back to their Favorites.
