Rapidly Published articles provide information directly from within the Microsoft support organization. The information that is contained herein is created in response to emerging or unique topics, or is intended to supplement other Knowledge Base information.
This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 for the German (de) language locale.

Symptoms

In the German version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 with Service Pack 1 installed, the line numbers in the GDPdU Field Selection dialog box are incorrect. For example, the first line number is 5000 instead of 10000 and the second line number is 7500 instead of 20000. Therefore, when you try to select a field in the GDPdU Field Selection dialog box, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
The GDPdU Record Def. Field already exists.

Identification fields and values:

Definition Group Code='EXPORT-NEW',Record Code='DATENSTZ-N',Table No.='15',Line No.='9999'

Code changes

Note Always test code fixes in a controlled environment before you apply the fixes to your production computers.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Add the SelectGDPdUField new procedure in the "GDPdU Field Selection" form (11005) as follows:
            GDPdURecDefField.COPY(Rec);
    CurrForm.NonSelectedFields.FORM.SelectGDPdUField(GDPdURecDefField);
    GET(
    GDPdURecDefField."Definition Group Code",
    GDPdURecDefField."Record Code",
    GDPdURecDefField."Table No.",
    GDPdURecDefField."Line No.");
  2. Change the code in the OnPush trigger in Control1140017 in the "GDPdU Field Selection" form (11005) as follows:
    Existing code
    CurrForm.NonSelectedFields.FORM.SelectGDPdUField;
    Replacement code
    SelectGDPdUField;
  3. Change the code in the OnPush trigger in Control1140006 in the "GDPdU Field Selection" form (11005) as follows:
    Existing code
    CurrForm.NonSelectedFields.FORM.SelectGDPdUField;
    Replacement code
    SelectGDPdUField;
  4. Delete the following global variable in the "GDPdU Field Selection Subform" form (11006):
    GDPdURecDefField@1140005 : Record 11005;
  5. Add the following parameter in the SelectGDPdUFiels procedure in the "GDPdU Field Selection Subform" form (11006):
    VAR GDPdURecDefField@1140001 : Record 11005
  6. Change the code in the FindNextLineNo function in the "GDPdU Management" codeunit (11000) as follows:
    Existing code
    ...
    NextLineNo := GDPdURecDefField."Line No.";
    IF GDPdURecDefField.FIND('>') THEN
    NextLineNo := NextLineNo + (GDPdURecDefField."Line No." - NextLineNo) DIV 2
    ELSE
    NextLineNo := NextLineNo + 10000;
    ...
    Replacement code
    ...
    WITH GDPdURecDefField DO BEGIN
    NextLineNo := "Line No." + 10000;
    SETFILTER("Line No.",'>%1',"Line No.");
    IF FIND('+') THEN
    REPEAT
    RENAME("Definition Group Code","Record Code","Table No.","Line No." + 10000);
    UNTIL NEXT(-1) = 0;
    END;
    ...
