Problem Resolution Support
Problem Resolution Support provides assistance for issues with specific symptoms that occur when you use a Microsoft product, where there is a reasonable expectation that the issues are caused that Microsoft product.
Customers with Software Assurance (SA) for Standard Editions of server products have access to electronic Web-based problem resolution support services. Customers with Software Assurance for Enterprise Editions of server products have access to electronic Web-based as well as Phone-based problem resolution support services. Incident Submission - Getting Started To open a Software Assurance (SA) problem resolution request, you must provide the following information:
Software Assurance Access ID*
Server product edition and version that shows the issue
Authorized Contact information
* The Software Assurance access ID is provided to authorized individuals by a company’s SA Support Benefits Administrator. For more information, contact your Microsoft sales representative.
Premier and Essential Support Standard Plan customers must provide their Support ID’s to receive the Premier-level or Essential Standard-level support for SA covered servers.
