The DSCP marking is set to the default of 0 for all DSCP-enabled outgoing audio and video traffic in the following scenario:
- The Live Meeting 2007 client generates the audio and video traffic.
- The Live Meeting 2007 client is installed on Windows Vista or Windows 7 client operating systems.
The Live Meeting 2007 client does not have this issue on the Windows XP client operating systems that are supported.
Both the Windows Vista and Windows 7 clients support the Windows Server 2008 policy-based Quality of Service (QoS). The Windows Server 2008 policy-based QoS can be applied to the Windows client operating systems that support it by using the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). The Live Meeting client's executable (pwconsole.exe) can use just one local policy for SERVICETYPE_CONTROLLEDLOAD (video) or for SERVICETYPE_GAURANTEED (audio) Differentiated Service types.
