Stay up to date on the latest posts, comments, and tweets from family and friends on Facebook and Twitter and read messages from your Facebook Messenger pals.
If someone in your social network posts comments or tweets or sends you a message, you’ll get a notification and feel a haptic vibration on your Microsoft Band.
View social networking notifications

On your Band, press the power button.
|Step 2:||Swipe left and tap the Facebook , Facebook Messenger , or Twitter tile.|

With a notification in view, scroll up to read more of the item or swipe left to read other items.

Your Band displays 40 characters of the account name and 120 characters of the body of social networking notifications. You can read the full text of longer notifications on your phone.
Turn social networking notifications on or off
When social networking notifications are off, you can still read them on your Band, but your Band won’t vibrate and won’t display incoming items automatically as they arrive.
Here’s how to turn social notifications on or off:
|Step 1:||On your phone, tap the Microsoft Band app.|
|Step 2:||Tap Menu > Manage Tiles.|
|Step 3:||Tap Facebook , Facebook Messenger , or Twitter , and on the settings screen, tap to turn notifications On or Off.|
|Step 4:||Repeat Step 3 for each of the social networks for which you want to change notifications settings.|
Remove social networking tiles from your Band
You can remove one or all of the social media tiles from your Band. For any tile you remove, you won’t get notifications of incoming updates. To learn how to remove tiles, see Manage tiles and notifications.
