Electronic reporting (GER) framework allows to configure a format that can be used for parsing of incoming document and storing importing document’s data representing stored data as GER data model. The logic of such parsing is defined as a GER format layout while the logic of storing data in GER data model is described as a GER format mapping to data model. GER format mappings to data model reside in GER formats.
At the same time GER support data model mappings that describe either pulling data from application database to GER data model (to be used as data sources for GER formats that generate outgoing documents) or pushing data from GER data model to application’s tables and/or data entities (to be used as data consumers for GER formats that parse incoming documents). GER data model mappings to application’s tables and/or data entities reside in GER data models.
Since GER format to model mapping is part of the GER format, whenever you rebase your format to a new version of his base format any base format’s model mapping will be copied to your format. The problem occurs when you rebase your format to a new version of his base model: GER data model mappings are considered as belonging to the GER format and are copied to your format. After that, you can’t complete such format to start using it locally or share it later for wider usage.
To work around this issue, after installation of this hotfix package backup required completed format configuration versions via 'Export as XML file', delete entire format configuration, import saved format configuration versions via 'Load from XML file' (it will restore format configuration), and then you can run rebase process.
Be aware that this fix depreciates the hotfix of the earlier published KB4035072.
