On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP, you run a network program that uses a Winsock connection. However, when the program calls the recv Winsock function, the following error code is generated:
WSAECONNABORTED (10053)Note This error code indicates that an established connection was aborted by the software that is installed on the host computer. This behavior may have occurred because of a data transmission time-out or because of a protocol error. If you trace the network traffic, you find that the Winsock client sends a reset packet to the server. The Winsock client performs this action after the client receives and acknowledges a data packet.
