How to view eRequisition data in Requisition Management for Business Portal in Microsoft Dynamics GP Contenido proporcionado por Microsoft INTRODUCTIONThis article describes how to view eRequisition data in Requisition Management for Business Portal in Microsoft Dynamics GP.MORE INFORMATIONAn upgrade or a migration of data from eRequisition to Requisition Management is unavailable. If you used eRequisition before you used Requisition Management, a new entity and a new data permission have been added. Therefore, you can view requisition information and line information from the eRequisition history tables within Business Portal. The ReqListHistory entity and the ReqListHistory - All data permission have been added to the Data Permission list. You can view the Data Permission list from the Manage Data Permissions page. You can use the ReqListHistory - All data permission to view only the most recent version of each document in the eRequisition history tables. If you use the table copy methods to move the eRequisition tables to the current DYNAMICS database where Business Portal is installed, you must create the appropriate tables to view eRequisition history. The table copy methods include Data Transformation Services (DTS) and Bulk Copy Process (BCP). To create the appropriate tables to view eRequisition history, you must manually run the View.reqhistory.sql script file. The View.reqhistory.sql script file is located in the following default folder:C:\Program Files\Microsoft Business Solutions\Business Portal\Utilities\SQL\System\ReqMgmtNote This path may be different if you move the View.reqhistory.sql file to another location. To view eRequisition history information, you must set up a query that is based on the ReqListHistory entity. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Purchasing , and then click Queries . 2. Click New Query to start the Create a Query wizard, and then click Next . 3. In the Business Entity column, click ReqListHistory , and then click Next . 4. In the Select Columns window, click to select the check boxes for the columns that you want to include, and then click Next . 5. In the Arrange Columns window, arrange the columns in the order that you want them to appear, and then click Next . 6. In the Restrict Rows window, create restrictions for any columns that you want to restrict, and then click Next . 7. In the Sort Results window, click the sort option that you want to use, and then click Next . 8. In the Name field, type the name of your query. 9. In the Company list, click the Company that this query is for. 10. In the Folder section, click the folder where you want to save the query, and then click Next . 11. Click Finish . The issue that is described in the Introduction section does not apply to Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0.In Requisition Management, to view the requisition document and line information, you must use the RequisitionDocument entity and the ReqDoc data permission together with the RequisitionLineRoot entity and the RequisitionLineRoot-All data permission. These entities and data permissions display all the requisitions from Requisition Management but do not display anything from eRequisition.
