It’s easy to rack up points and earn your way toward great Microsoft Rewards. Get points for doing the things you already do—search on Bing.com, buy stuff from Microsoft Store online or in Windows 10, or just explore the Rewards page. Opportunities to earn points are updated daily, so check in often!
Microsoft Rewards points don’t have any cash value. But if you’re a numbers person, or if you just want to know how long it will take for you to earn that sweet gift card or free subscription, it usually takes about 5,000 points to redeem something worth $5.
Remember to stay signed in with your Microsoft account, and you’re golden. Your Rewards points will show up next to your account name wherever you go, so you can track your progress. If you have a Windows 10 device (and you’re signed in to your device with your Microsoft account), you can even earn points by searching for stuff on the web through the Search box there on the taskbar. And if you’re signed in with Cortana, earn points when Cortana searches Bing.*
Earn points using Bing and Microsoft Edge, or shopping in Microsoft Store online from your Windows 8.1or Windows 10devices. And if you're on mobile, download the Bing app to get points on the move.
Note:Buying items from Microsoft Store on Xbox may not earn points in all countries/regions.
