FIX: Cannot save the SSRS report after you change a parameter in Report Builder or the SQL Server Data Tool

Symptoms

When you change a parameter in a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services (SSRS) report in Report Builder or the SQL Server Data Tool, you cannot save the report. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: The input XML does not conform to the schema. XML grammar is described in the API documentation. For XML in reports, refer to Report Definition Language syntax. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InvalidXmlException: The input XML does not conform to the schema. Update information

This issue is fixed in Cumulative Update 7 for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 3.
