Symptoms
If you run an instance of SQL Server 2017 in a Linux Docker container, you can't stop the Docker container by executing the docker stop command.
Resolution
This fix is included in Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2017.
This fix addresses this issue by letting you stop the Docker container by executing the docker-compose stop command or by using keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C.

Each new build for SQL Server 2017 contains all the hotfixes and security fixes that were in the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2017.
