Note This update replaces a previous resiliency improvements update that is described in KB article 2838669.
Additionally, the following issues that you experience are resolved.
Issue 1Assume that you have a Windows Server 2012-based failover cluster. A Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) is moved or is toggled between directed access and redirected access when the performance monitor is running. In this situation, the performance counters no longer function.
Issue 2Consider the following scenario:
- You have the Hyper-V server role installed on Windows Server 2012-based failover cluster nodes.
- Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) files of the virtual machines are stored on a scale-out file share.
- The cluster nodes are under heavy loads.
STOP: 0x000000C2 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
- The parameters in this Stop error message vary, depending on the configuration of the computer.
- Not all "Stop 0x000000C2" errors are caused by this issue.
Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Hotfix replacement informationThe hotfix that corresponds to KB 2848344 has been superseded with the hotfix KB 2878635, which contains all fixes that were previously included in KB 2848344.
