This article describes the August 2010 update for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. This update includes server-side fixes and client-side fixes. The server-side fixes are installed automatically by the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online team. Issues that are fixed in the August 2010 update

Server-side fixes

The August 2010 update includes the following server-side fixes that were not previously documented:
  • Incorrect names appear in the Service module in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. BUG #: 11226 (CRM SE)
  • You experience slow performance when you open the main page of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online by using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or by using Windows Internet Explorer 7. Specifically, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM image loads slowly in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and in Windows Internet Explorer 7.BUG #: 13294 (CRM SE)
  • When you run the bulk delete jobs at the same time, the jobs consume 90 percent of CPU resources. Therefore, you experience slow performance.BUG #: 14132 (CRM SE)

Client-side fixes

The August 2010 update includes the following client-side fixes that were not previously documented:
  • Assume that you run the Set Regarding function on an email message that is listed in the Inbox in Microsoft Outlook. When you try to use the Campaign option for the email message, you receive the following error message:
    An error has occurred.

  • Assume that a contact is removed from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online client for Microsoft Office Outlook. When you run the Synchronize with CRM function, the removed contact is not synchronized with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online client for Outlook.BUG #: 14124 (CRM SE)
