This article describes an update for the SoftBank Mobile Corp network in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8, and Windows RT. Before you apply this update, you should be aware that this update has a prerequisite.
About this update
This update adds a new entry in the APN database for the SoftBank Mobile Corp network so that users can connect to the network without manually entering connection settings.
Note The Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 APN database contains information that is provided by mobile operators to enable Windows to automatically connect to the operators' mobile broadband networks. For more information, see APN database.

Prerequisites
To install this update, you must have April 2014, update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 (2919355) installed in Windows 8.1.
There is no prerequisite for Windows 8 to install this update.
