A brilliant screen for your ideas

Surface Studio 2 screen

Surface Studio 2 has a 28-inch, adjustable PixelSenseTM Display with 13.5 million pixels to bring your ideas, images, and drawings to life. Touch it. Draw on it. Visualize and develop your ideas like you would on a sheet of paper.

Transforms from Desktop to Studio

Whether you’re sketching your next great idea, collaborating with a team, or pitching your work, Surface Studio 2 is ready to adapt to wherever you are in the creative process.

Surface Studio 2 transforming from Desktop to Studio Mode

Hold the side of the screen and use the Zero Gravity Hinge to transform Surface Studio 2 from Desktop to Studio Mode. It’s the perfect height to write, draw, or doodle on your screen.

When you’re ready for a desktop again, lift the screen back up.

Professional-grade power and performance

Surface Studio 2 is up for anything. Our most powerful Surface yet, it has an Intel® Core™ i7 processor and a discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® GPU.  You can run professional-grade software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Solidworks, and Autodesk, and use unique tools like Surface Pen and Surface Dial to reinvent the way you create.

In addition to Surface Pen, Surface Studio 2 comes with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. They’re pre-paired and ready to go whenever you are.

Sign in with Windows Hello

Start screen with Windows Hello greeting

Say goodbye to your password. The front-facing infrared camera on your Surface Studio 2 is ready to use with Windows Hello – it’s faster and more secure than typing a password. Once it’s set up, your Surface Studio 2 will recognize your face, and only yours, almost instantly.

Make it your own

Write and draw naturally with the newest Surface Pen

We all think differently when we’re holding a pen. With 4,096 pressure points that respond to your touch, tilt for shading, and a natural-feeling rubber eraser, the newest Surface Pen and Surface Studio 2 work together to harness that change in perspective. Click the top of the Pen to launch Windows Ink Workspace, a place where you can take notes, sketch, and draw on your screen. Surface Pen attaches magnetically to the side of the display, so it’s always there when you need it.

Highest quality mouse and keyboard

Design is in the details, and it’s no different for the Surface Keyboard and Surface Mouse.

Surface Keyboard is built with a strong, soft-finished aluminum top case, and it pairs automatically with your Surface Studio 2 without wires getting in the way. Typing is fast, quiet, and responsive.

To change keyboard settings, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Devices > Typing.

Surface Mouse is also wireless, with a 24-detent metal scroll wheel. Click and scrolling sounds were crafted to be quiet enough not to disturb, but distinct enough to hear.
