When using Continuum for phones to do stuff on a connected TV or monitor, you’ve got options. If you’re just kicking back and watching videos, you can use your phone as a touchpad. But when it’s time to get productive, connect a keyboard and mouse. Use them like you normally do on your PC—even keyboard shortcuts will work.
Some mice and keyboards use a wireless dongle or receiver to connect. In some cases, each has its own dongle; others come as a pair that can connect using a single dongle. To get connected, plug the dongle into the USB port on your wired dock or wireless adapter.
To set up a completely wireless Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, you’ll need to pair them with your phone. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and turn Status on. Select the mouse and keyboard from the list to pair them.
Continuum for phones requires additional hardware and is only available on select new phones running Windows 10 Mobile.
