Symptoms


The error “Cannot create a record in KB articles (ERKBArticleTable). The record already exists” occurs while downloading GER configurations from a selected repository. It happens when there are hotfixes installed for the using application and the download of GER configurations has been performed earlier.

Resolution


To work around this issue, having access to the database execute the following SQL statements:
delete from ERAXUPDATETABLE
delete from ERAXUPDATEKBARTICLETABLE
delete from ERKBARTICLETABLE

 

This package contains the code modification that allows repeating the download of GER configurations from a selected repository for an application with hotfixes installed.
