Updating the Microsoft Family Safety app
How to find your app version
To keep features like screen time and app limits working properly, you may need to update your Microsoft Family Safety app. You can quickly check which app version you or one of your family members have by following the instructions below.
Note: App limits are currently only available on Android devices.
On Android devices:

Open the Family Safety app. Click the menu button ( ) to open the left pane.

At the bottom of this pane you can see the version number of Family safety that you currently have. Ex: v1.2.0

You can update the app to the latest version from the Google Play store, if necessary.
On iOS devices:

Open the Family Safety app. Tap the home () button to open the left pane.

At the botton of the pane you can see the version number that you currently have. Ex: v1.2.0

You can update the app to the latest version from the Apple App Store, if necessary.
