Symptoms
Assume that you try to update data in the Excel Add-in for Master Data Services (MDS) in SQL Server 2017. After updating when you click on Refresh, you may notice that the gray background for read-only attributes disappears.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
