Can’t print or print preview a webpage in Internet Explorer 8 on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

Symptoms

Assume that you try to print or view a print preview of a webpage in Internet Explorer 8 on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. However, the attempt is unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive the following script error message:

Error: Unspecified error.
Code: 0 URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

Cause

This issue occurs because the Low folder in the %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp directory folder is missing, or the Low folder is not assigned the appropriate permissions or attributes.

Resolution

Hotfix information
