Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • In the Microsoft Exchange Server Messaging API (MAPI) Editor tool (MfcMapi.exe), you can convert files from .msg (MAPI) format to .eml (MIME) format. However, MfcMapi.exe takes more than 10 minutes to convert a message that contains a large amount of lines to an .eml file.
    BUG #: 24746 (OfficeQFE)
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You create a new e-mail message and then save it to the Drafts folder.
    • You add new contents to the message body and then send the message.
In this scenario, the message in your Sent Items folder or in the recipient's Inbox folder does not contain the new contents.
    BUG #: 24823 (OfficeQFE)
  • You set the value for the DisableToDoBar registry entry to 1 under the following registry subkey:
Note After that, the To-Do bar is disabled in Outlook 2007. However, when you try to re-enable the To-Do bar by setting the value for the DisableToDoBar registry entry to 0, the To-Do bar is still disabled.
    BUG #: 24858 (OfficeQFE)
  • In Outlook 2007, you cannot rename the shortcuts for shared calendars.
    BUG #: 24862 (OfficeQFE)

  • When you print multiple HTML e-mail messages in Outlook 2007, the font size on the second page of the printout is very small.
    BUG #: 24886 (OfficeQFE)
  • In Outlook 2007, a delegate opens a manager's mailbox and then sends an e-mail message on behalf of the manager. After that, when the delegate opens the Sent Items folder in his or her own mailbox, the From line displays "delegate name" instead of "delegate name" on behalf of "manager name" unexpectedly.
    BUG #: 24910 (OfficeQFE)
  • Consider the following scenario. You connect to a voice mail inbox on the Unified Messaging (UM) server by using an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) e-mail account. When the Inbox folder for the IMAP e-mail account is active in Outlook 2007, and you delete the last voice mail from a telephone, you receive the following error message in Outlook 2007:
    Failed to Update Headers
    BUG #: 24913 (OfficeQFE)

    • You create a user profile in Outlook 2007.

      • The Outlook 2007 hotfix package that is dated February 24, 2009.

    BUG #: 24942 (OfficeQFE)
  • You open Outlook 2007 from a POP profile or from an IMAP profile. You set a rule to automatically run a script that saves incoming e-mail messages to the local disk. In this case, when you receive a new message, a message box shows that the rule is running. However, when you click OK on the message box, Outlook 2007 crashes.

  • Outlook 2007 crashes when you try to preview or to print contacts in card style.
    BUG #: 24967 (OfficeQFE)
