Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment, the following sequence of events occurs:

  1. ConnectionA creates Command1.

  2. ConnectionA closes.

  3. ConnectionA reopens.

When this occurs, you may receive the following access violation:

msdrda!ddm::Requester::getManager+35

Cause

This issue occurs because the statement Command1.statement in Command1 belongs to the old requester connection ID. When you try to execute Command1, the old requester connection ID may be freed and unavailable. Therefore, you receive the access violation.
