Microsoft has released an update for the 2007 Microsoft Office system. This update provides the latest fixes for the 2007 Office system.
Issue that this update fixes
Assume that you extend the functionality of a document in an Office 2013 application by using apps for Office. However, when you try to open the document by using a 2007 Office system application, the 2007 Office system application may crash.
Note Microsoft Office 2013 introduces the apps for Office platform. This platform provides new experiences in Office applications. More specifically, apps for Office integrate web technologies and cloud services into Office documents.
