Symptoms

You capture a Transaction Integrator trace file on a server that is running Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010. When you open the trace file on a server that is running Host Integration Server, you receive the following Trace Viewer utility error message:

Trace File Error - path\trace_file_name
File could not be interpreted - TI Time Format not recognized.

Note This problem occurs if you capture a Transaction Integrator trace on a system that uses a date and time format that uses a numeric value for the month such as the value 12 to represent the month of December.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Host Integration Server Trace Viewer utility checks for a three-letter name for the month when it parses the time and date fields in the trace file.
