Symptoms
Microsoft Lync 2010 negotiates a time interval for the white space keep alive mechanism with Lync Server 2010. This article describes an update that lets Lync Server 2010 allow a range of the time interval that is specified by Lync 2010. The range is from 5 to 15 minutes.
Note Before the update is installed, Lync Server 2010 only allows 5 minutes time interval.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install either of the following cumulative updates:
