Symptoms
When you delete a contact group in Microsoft Lync 2010 for iPhone under the following scenarios, the Lync 2010 for iPhone client still displays the contact group.
Scenario 1

You sign out from Lync 2010 for iPhone and sign in to Microsoft Lync 2010 on a computer.

You delete a contact group in Lync 2010.

You sign in to Lync 2010 for iPhone.
Scenario 2

The Mobility Service session on the server times out. For example, the session times out after network errors occur or after you lock the telephone screen and wait for about one hour.

You sign in to Lync 2010 on a computer and delete a contact group.
Note The contact group is removed in Lync 2010 for iPhone. -
You sign out and then sign in to Lync 2010 for iPhone.
Cause
This issue occurs because Lync 2010 for iPhone synchronizes contact groups incorrectly when a Mobility Service session is renewed.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
