Description of the Excel 2013 hotfix package (Excel-x-none.msp): February 12, 2013

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

• Consider the following scenario:
  

  • You open a Word document that contains shapes or pictures in Microsoft Excel 2013.

  • You right-click one of the shapes or one of the pictures in the Word document.

  • You click Edit Points for the shape or you point to Wrap Text and then click Edit Wrap Points for the picture.

  In this scenario, other shapes or pictures in the document are missing.
  

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
