Assume that you only have the permission of a folder in a document library. When you drop or drag a file to a sub folder, you receive the following error message:
The documents cannot be uploaded because different permissions are needed. Request the necessary permissions.

When you insert ActiveX control into a macro-free workbook, worksheets can have duplicated code names.

Assume that you change an Excel 2013 workbook by using OpenXML SDK. When you save and then open the workbook again by using Excel Services or Excel Online, you receive the following error message:

We don't know what happened, but something went wrong.
Could you please try that again?

When you enable the Turn OFF Cross Document Messaging Group Policy, you cannot open a document in an Office Web Apps Server 2013 application in Internet Explorer 8.

When you experience an error during ping checks in the health check of Office Web App Server (WAC), all future checks fail until you restart the process.

After you select the Use printer metrics to lay out document check box on the Advanced tab in the Word Options dialog box in Word 2013, table autofit may be incorrect in some documents.

When you reply a discussion board item that is created by an anonymous user, you encounter an error if you are an anonymous user.

After you copy a sheet that contains a table to a new workbook in Excel 2013, Excel 2013 crashes.

Assume that an Excel 2013 workbook object is embedded in another container. If the workbook contains one or more ActiveX controls in run mode and you activate or deactivate the Excel object, Excel 2013 crashes.

When you have a frame such as a floating table with text-wrapping that breaks across pages and there is text next to the frame in a Word 2013 document, the footnote text may not appear if there are footnotes in the text.

Registry information
After you install this hotfix package, follow these steps to resolve the issue in which worksheets can have duplicated code names when ActiveX controls are inserted into a macro-free workbook:

Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

Locate and then select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Excel\Options\

On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.

Type CreateVbeProjOnLoad, and then press Enter.

In the Details pane, right-click CreateVbeProjOnLoad, and then click Modify.

In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.

Exit Registry Editor.
File information
This hotfix package may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix package contains only the files that you must have to resolve the issue that listed in this article.
The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
