Symptoms

Assume that you build a URL to concatenate to the Microsoft Outlook Web App endpoint to read an item in Outlook Web App. When the WebClientReadFormQueryString or WebClientEditFormQueryString string is called in Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, incorrect URLs are returned.

Cause

This issue occurs because the format of Outlook Web App URLs is changed in Exchange 2013. However, the WebClientReadFormQueryString and WebClientEditFormQueryString strings are not updated.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
